SKG: Quiver app

SKG students used quiver app for celebrating the culmination of visual language unit.

 

Grade 2: TinyTap app

Grade 2-Media- How we express our self- in order to explore the first line of inquiry different types of media students used the TinyTap app to create several types of apps after they analyzed app on the app store.

Grade 4: Prezi(online tool) for Presentation

4th graders have been learning about Human Body systems, what they consist of and how they function. Students inquired into different human body systems and explain the process and function. In order to show their understanding of specific human body system which each student was asked to present using the Prezi tool. Below are examples of presentations.

Grade 5: PYP exhibition approaching – preparing iWizards

Grade 4: Google Expeditions

 

Grade 4- Human body Unit- Inquiring into different systems of the Human body. The best thing about the google expeditions is that provides relevant information and clear visual of organs, immersive VR imagery of the inner and outer side of organs for each system.

Grade 5: Arduino – Exploring light experiment

Grade 5-Unit-light and sound, Under theme- HOW WORLD WORKS,  Tech integrator demonstrated how the Arduino tool will help you to understand the properties of light and light sensors get affected by the amount of light reflected on them.Light sensors reading were seen on the computer helping students understand how different objects allowed light to pass through or block it.Students were split into groups and asked to have their hypothesis in hand before they start experimenting with Arduino. The whole idea was to explore light with an Arduino having hypothesis and draw a conclusion displaying their conceptual understanding.

Grae 1: Sketchbook Motion app

 

In literacy-Different kinds poems-grade 1 students chose sketchbook Motion app to animate and publish their  Free Verse poem.
